"Josephine" is an elegant vintage Art Deco ring, crafted by a French master jeweler in the 1980s in 18-karat yellow gold. Its octagonal design centers around a deep blue, 0.86-carat oval-cut sapphire in a bezel setting, bringing intensity and brilliance to the piece. It is enhanced by a surround of 14 8/8-cut diamonds set on the top, along with 18 brilliant-cut sapphires in tension settings, creating an elegant interplay of dimension. The yellow-gold band is delicately decorated with a channel motif and ornate palmettes.
The sapphire has a long history as a coveted precious stone. In antiquity, it was often associated with deities and mythical kingdoms, with kings and queens frequently wearing it as a symbol of power and protection. Your antique jewelry is delivered to you in its case with its certificate of authenticity to be kept carefully.
Our selection of second-hand jewelry includes unique pieces from the 19th century up to the 1980s. Each vintage Elliade piece is carefully chosen for the quality of its craftsmanship and its unique design. The ethical jewelry we offer is set with genuine precious stones. Our clients choose a vintage Elliade piece for the most beautiful occasions in their lives, such as engagement rings, birth rings, anniversary jewelry, or simply to treat themselves.
At Elliade, we do not issue laboratory certificates, but a certificate of authenticity. This certificate, resulting from the expertise work of our gemologists, certifies the characteristics of the jewelry, the natural origin of the stones, as well as the estimated carat weight.
Why are the prices of our antique jewelry so low?
The mission of Elliade is to democratize jewelry by making vintage pieces accessible. We have decided to minimize our margins to offer prices on average 3x cheaper than new items of equivalent quality. We have relied on the loyalty of our customers and the recurrence of their purchases, rather than on prohibitive prices.
Elliade was founded by a recognized Parisian expert Pascale Bauer Petiet and her daughter Alix. All our antique jewelry is meticulously appraised, certified, and set with genuine diamonds, emeralds, or sapphires.

The Elliade jewelry are unique vintage pieces! These antique jewels are sourced from all over France. Many of our female and male clients come to Elliade to revalue their family gold jewelry. We offer immediate buyback at very attractive prices, remotely or directly in one of our Parisian antique jewelry shops. Can we reserve a vintage Elliade jewel?
