A warm 1960s daisy, "Léonie" is is a vintage ring crafted in 18-karat yellow gold. At its center, a 1.20-carat oval-cut hessonite garnet reveals an amber-red hue with luminous undertones. It is highlighted by a halo of ten brilliant-cut hessonite garnets. Lthe harmony between the color of the stones and the yellow gold gives the piece a beautiful softness.

Lessonite is a variety of grossular garnet whose colors range from honey yellow to cinnamon red. Its name comes from the Greek "hêssôn," meaning inferior, in reference to its slightly lower hardness than other garnets. It is recognizable by its characteristic internal texture, often described as a syrupy effect. Traditionally associated with warmth and vitality, it is one of the nine gems of the Indian tradition.

Pairing a colored gemstone with a matching setting is a rarer choice than a diamond setting. This monochromatic composition gives the daisy ring a particular intensity, very much in vogue in the 1960s. It can be worn alone or paired with a yellow gold bangle.

Your antique jewel is delivered to you in its case with its certificate of authenticity to be kept carefully.

Our selection of second-hand jewels includes unique pieces from the 19th century up to the 1980s. Each vintage Elliade jewel is carefully chosen for the quality of its craftsmanship and its unique design. The ethical jewels we offer are set with genuine precious stones. Our clients choose a vintage Elliade jewel for the most beautiful moments of their lives, such as engagement rings, birth rings, birthday jewels, or simply to treat themselves.

At Elliade, we do not issue laboratory certificates, but a certificate of authenticity. This certificate, resulting from the expert work of our gemologists, certifies the characteristics of the jewel, the natural origin of the stones, as well as the estimated carat weight.

Why are the prices of our antique jewelry so low?

Elliade's mission is to make fine jewelry accessible by offering vintage pieces. We have decided to minimize our profits to offer prices on average three times lower than new items of equivalent quality.
