"Minerva" is a sumptuous vintage daisy ring, crafted in the 1960s from 18-karat white gold. At its center, it holds a 0.70-carat old-cut diamond, estimated to be F/SI1 in quality. It is enhanced by a halo of eight generously proportioned old-cut diamonds, bringing the total weight to 2 carats. These old cuts offer a soft, deep light of rare charm. A generous, striking corolla in which the white gold extends the diamonds' brilliance.
Before the invention of the modern brilliant cut, diamond cutters shaped stones by hand to reveal their fire in candlelight. The old cut, with its small table, deep pavilion, and visible culet, is recognizable by its broad flashes of light and softness. Each stone is therefore unique, a testament to the craftsmanship of another era. A symbol of eternity, the antique diamond carries within it a part of history that we love to pass on.
Borrowing its silhouette from the flower after which it is named, the daisy ring enjoyed a true golden age in the mid-20th century. In the 1960s, it became more generous and luminous, as seen in "Minerva" and its broad diamond corolla. An iconic engagement ring, it is equally suited to grand celebrations and milestone anniversaries.
Unique ring, size 55 - US size 7.5. Resizing is not possible for this model in order to preserve the diamonds' setting.

At Elliade, we do not issue laboratory certificates, but a certificate of authenticity. This certificate, resulting from the expertise work of our gemologists, certifies the characteristics of the jewelry, the natural origin of the stones, as well as the estimated carat weight.
Why are the prices of our antique jewelry so low?
The mission of Elliade is to democratize jewelry by making vintage pieces accessible. We have decided to minimize our margins to offer prices on average 3x cheaper than new items of equivalent quality.
