Dating from the 1970s, the vintage "Méline" daisy ring blossoms around a 0.40-carat cabochon-cut opal with changing colors. Depending on the light, the stone reveals blue-green, yellow, and orangey-red hues. It is enhanced by a delicate halo of twelve old-cut diamonds, totaling 0.24 carat. L18-karat yellow gold and platinum come together to give the stone a setting that is both warm and luminous.
L'opal is a unique gemstone, formed from tiny spheres of silica that break light into colorful flashes. This phenomenon, called opalescence, makes each stone absolutely one of a kind. The smooth, domed cabochon cut is the one that best reveals this play of colors. Traditionally associated with inspiration and hope, opal is the birthstone for October.
The daisy ring gets its name from its floral design, in which a central stone is surrounded by sparkling petals. Here, the crown of antique diamonds, with its subtle sparkle, frames the opal without ever outshining it. This timeless design spans the ages with an enduringly feminine elegance. Precious and delicate, it should be worn with care to preserve the beauty of its stone.

Your antique jewelry is delivered to you in its case with its certificate of authenticity to be kept carefully.
Our selection of second-hand jewelry includes unique pieces from the 19th century up to the 1980s. Each vintage Elliade piece is carefully chosen for the quality of its craftsmanship and its unique design. The ethical jewelry we offer is set with genuine precious stones. Our clients choose a vintage Elliade piece for the most beautiful occasions in their lives, such as engagement rings, birth rings, anniversary jewelry, or simply to treat themselves.
At Elliade, we do not issue laboratory certificates, but a certificate of authenticity. This certificate, resulting from the expertise work of our gemologists, certifies the characteristics of the jewelry, the natural origin of the stones, as well as the estimated carat weight.
Why are the prices of our antique jewelry so low?
The mission of Elliade is to democratize jewelry by making vintage pieces accessible. We have decided to minimize our margins to offer prices on average 3x cheaper than new items of equivalent quality. We have relied on the loyalty of our customers and the recurrence of their purchases, rather than on prohibitive prices.
